It isn't but a few hours that one Picky Partner has returned from an amazing trip that this Picky Partner hits the road in the early hours of the morning herself. Texas is where I am bound. Our first stop along the way is none other than the great city of New Orleans. Introducing the boy's to the sights , sounds and unforgettable food of this historical town will be an adventure all it's own. The beautiful French Quarter is where we will rest before we take off to Bourbon Street for a taste of the town.

Acme Oyster House, Central Grocery, Gumbo Shop and the Coffee Pot are a few of the eateries we loved. The trip would not be complete without ending the night drinking great coffee and eating tasty beignet's at Cafe Du Monde.{Salt & Pepper Pakistani Restaurant}
I cannot seem to travel to another city without searching out the backstreets for some great ethnic food, in such a diverse city as New Orleans I was so excited to find Pakistani Cuisine, at the Salt and Pepper restaurant. With the family in tow I dragged everyone away from the hotel to try my new find. The food turned out to be perfect (extremely hot) and the boy's were troopers tasting everything and dancing to the Bollywood music videos playing on the TV. It was so much fun. Next stop for us, the Big "T ", Texas, they boy's can't wait to meet a "real cowboy", I plan to make that happen!
