{Snippets from the National Stationery Show in NYC}

If anyone knows anything about me, I'm a very particular paper person.  Although I spent last weekend joyfully celebrating the 3rd and 5th birthdays of my oldest babies at the Coolidge Park Carousel, anyone who has anything to do with paper was in New York City at the National Stationery Show.  After recouperating from a busy weekend {and a wonderful surpise visit from both my parents who flew in on a whim from Montana to celebrate a week of birthdays with their grandbabies and to meet our newest baby b!!} I have been vicariously visiting each and every booth through my favorite bloggers from Oh So Beautiful Paper and Ritzy Bee...

Next spring, look for this {Picky Pair} to be capturing our own shots from our iphones and giving your the best of design, paper, and NYC.  I think that 6 would be a great age to take my/our only girl to NYC for the first time!

{I love the creative honeycomb display from  Pearl and Marmalade}

{I want these silkscreened linens for my kitchen!}

{small square design's onesies and gift tags are so cute.  i love the letterpressed framed prints, too}

{It's always exciting to see the creative displays from the vendors.  Twig & Fig had one of my favorites!}

{That printed bird design from Copper Willow is actually printed on the back of the invitation!  Don't you love it!?}

{Daupine Press always has really romantic and thoughtful designs.}

{Embellished Ink's booth was also one of my favorites.  It's such a clean, sweet way to present their designs.}

{hello lucky stepped out of the box and did such a gorgeous design on the backdrop of their booth.  Their paper designs are just as creative.}

{Los Angeles's Sugar Paper has always been my favorite.  I am wishing their Audrey Hepburn card was waiting in my mailbox!}

{When we "lunched" with Soiree's Tara Geurard, she said she was launching her stationery
designs through her company The Lettered Olive.  We wish we had more close-up shots, but we're sure they're beautiful.}

{Another great booth design was Delphine Press.  That lovely purple wall is a great way to get your paper to pop!  I know I would have spent hours in this display.}

{and last, but not least, is Smock Paper.  This Picky Pair discovered this company while searching the blogs and got to touch {very important in the letterpress world!!}
 these gorgeous invites while at Social Graces in Nashville.
They are by far, our favorite "new" company, run by who else, but another multi-tasking mom!}
