{The Picky Pair} is always excited when something new is in town, especially new restaurants.
One that we have been especially looking forwad to opening is The Public House, located at Warehouse Row. Our party quickly turned from a table of 4 to a table of 6 {+ baby} when a surprise visit from my parents {in from Montana for the week} headed out for a night out.

The decor is simple, clean, comfortable, and free-flowing with black and white photos of interesting logos adorning the walls. The most significant photograph is of a Restaurant that belonged to restaurant owner, Nathan Lindley's grandfather.

The restaurant was brimming with customers and we had a great seat in the middle of the room, the energy was alive, and we quickly spotted friends. We asked what favorites we should try. The Publican Steak and Short Rib "Pot Roast" were a hit with our beef lovers.
The {Picky Pair} ordered salads. The Chilled Tortellini Salad with Chicken, Red Peppers, and Asparagus with a balsalmic dressing caught our eye as it was brought to an adjacent table, making the decision for one of us. The Green Goddess Dressing sounded interesting, pared with Grilled Salmon on a bed of chopped lettuce {not as beautiful a presentation} but the salmon won me over being perfectly seasoned. It had a crunchy crust with a beautifully moist and flaky texture. The dressing was light and refreshing with an unexpected spicy kick.

{Public House is open for lunch as well as dinner and has outdoor seating. Great food and a relaxed & friendly environment is sure to make The Public House a new favorite in the city.
The {PP} wish Nathan and his beautiful wife great success and look forward to our next Public House experience! }
{The {PP} had a wonderful time, Family, Friends & Great Food made for a Perfect Evening.}
