We're back from our long Labor Day vacation, and I had to share with you some of our photos. It also happened to be our sixth anniversary this weekend as well, but family trumped a romantic getaway for us {as it has nearly every year!} The above view is from everyone's favorite spot at the lake - the hammock! Baby B had the luxury of being rocked to sleep here all weekend. We felt fall blow in on Monday as we enjoyed our "picnic" on the back deck, saw signs of colors changing along the shoreline, and watched a pair of deer wander through the forest around the lake house. Although it's most likely our last weekend at the lake until next spring, this has been a special summer where the kids have learned to swim, I was back on a wakeboard and waterski, and the kids learned that getting away from the hustle and bustle of every day life is worth it when you're with family.
