The {PP} has discovered a wonderful little tribute to Turkish coffee in the heart of St. Elmo, in a quaint corner location just across the street from the Incline Railway Station. And lucky for us, just minutes from our homes. With a passion for coffee and a passion for community, proprietors Ladonna and Or Cingilli have the perfect recipe for success for PASHA Coffeehouse.
With a great signature Havalah latte devoloped especially for PASHA {look at the amazing work of head barista Alan Wilkes on our own delicious lattes!} to the traditional Turkish coffee served in a beautiful copper pot & the adorable demitasse cups, PASHA has extra touches that are simply different from all other coffee shops in town.
With a history as a nutritional counselor, Ladonna was aware of the need to offer healthy alternatives to the the beautiful cakes and sweets and expand the palate by introducing simple and delicious Ethnic cuisine. The Turkish Proverb "A cup of coffee commits one to forty years of friendship" seems to act as PASHA's own motto of sorts. This was evident as we watched locals stream in and out of the shop, with kids in tow. PASHA's organic, fair-trade (and perhaps even most important, absolutely delicious) coffee will mean that our friends and families will definintely be back for more!
